Arabica Semi Washed Sumatra Gayo

A semi washed process entails a 2 step drying method. The outer layer of the cherry is peeled off using a depulper before being dried briefly. After some time, the beans are collected for further pulping before dispersed for a re-drying. Conventionally, the moisture of normal Coffee beans are measured to be 11-12%. A Semi Washed process produces a higher rate of moisture (30-35%), which create a strong characterized Coffee beans with an intense sweet taste.
