This machine is pesticide residue meter which adopts LED and measures pesticide residue with high accuracy. The Nexon-5 Pesticide Residue Meter detection method on fresh vegetables or fruits is using a microtube plate as a media that is placed on the opposite way from the photodiode sensor to detect the presence of pesticide residue analytes in fresh vegetable and fruit samples, using specific reagent for making (standard) ST1-6 solutions. The photodiode sensor will read the reflected light intensity of the sample solution contained in one of the microtube holes and immediately convert it into electricity to be directly entered into the linear equation to get the results displayed on the screen as concentration values ​​in units of ppb (part per billion). The performance characteristic of Nexon-5 is having the ability to test for the presence and absence of residual analytes in a relatively short period of time. However, the accuracy of the Nexon-5 test method is affected by various factors, including how clean the fresh vegetables or fruits are washed for the preparation of the ST solution, how soluble the specific reagent are mixed into the ST solution, how fast the time for stirring the ST and sample solution, how accurate the pipetting on each ST and sample solution, etc.
