- Soil Amendment: Cocopeat is added to soil to improve its water retention, aeration, and nutrient-holding capacity. It enhances the overall quality of soil, particularly in sandy soils that drain quickly.



- Seed Starting: It is often used for starting seeds due to its ability to retain moisture and provide a stable environment for seed germination.



- Mulching: Cocopeat can be used as mulch around plants to help conserve soil moisture, regulate soil temperature, and suppress weeds.



- Animal Bedding: In some cases, cocopeat is used as bedding for animals, such as horses and reptiles, due to its absorbency and soft texture.
